Phil came to service a boiler that was probably beyond its lifespan. Phil was extremely professional from start to finish with constant communications and arriving exactly when stated. The boiler was successful serviced and will now see us through another winter.
Embracing Renewable Energy – Installation Servicing & Repairs
Green Planet Heating have embraced the move into modern renewable technology and offer a range of renewable energy services.
Below is a range of the renewable energy products that we are able to install, service and repair on behalf of our customers.
We have offered a brief summary about each system, but if you’d like to know more about renewable energy and the systems available please don’t hesitate to contact us and we will be happy to discuss options with you.
Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHPs) & Air To Air Heat Pumps
ASHPs absorb heat from the outside air. This heat can then be used to heat radiators, underfloor heating systems, or warm air convectors and hot water in your home.
The benefits of ASHPs include lower fuel bills, lower carbon emissions, no fuel deliveries required, minimal maintenance, easier installation and they can heat your home as well as your water.
Ground Source Heat Pumps (GSHPs)
GSHPs use pipes buried in the garden to extract heat from the ground. This heat can then be used to heat radiators, underfloor or warm air heating systems and hot water in your home.
The benefits of GSHPs include lower fuel bills, lower carbon emissions, no fuel deliveries required, minimal maintenance and they can heat your home as well as your water.
Heat Interface Units (HIUs)
HUIs are typically used in multi occupancy buildings such as blocks of apartments or social housing projects. Rather than each property being fitted with an individual boiler, a large central boiler is installed and HUIs act as the bridge between the central boiler and the heating systems within each property.
The benefits of HIUs include ease of installation, lower investment costs, ease of integration with renewable energy, minimal maintenance and environmental benefits.
Solar Thermal or Solar Water Heating systems use free heat from the sun to warm domestic hot water. A conventional boiler or immersion heater can be used to make the water hotter, or to provide hot water when solar energy is unavailable.
The benefits of solar thermal (solar water heating) include hot water throughout the year, reduced energy bills and a lower carbon footprint.
Renewable energy heating systems may also allow you to access potential income through the Governments Renewable Heat Incentive scheme (RHI). For more information about RHI scheme talk to one of our team here at Green Planet Heating.
If you are based in Gloucestershire, the Forest of Dean, Monmouthshire, Herefordshire or Worcestershire and are interested in having a renewable energy system installed, of have a system you would like serviced or repaired please contact Green Planet Heating.
